Pellegrino formed to create The Jetsam for Sprint at CPT in 2010. Since then we have been devising work with a strong dystopian element. Our aim is to shed light on today's society by exaggerating and distorting it, creating theatrical experiences that will surprise and provoke the audience. Our work is always a bit scary, a bit funny and somewhat musical.
We have presented an adaptation of Gunter Grass at the Arcola, built a one-on-one peepshow booth for Bush Bazaar, travelled back one-hundred years at Sugarhouse Studios, and five hundred at Transcend Festival. Company members have worked at the Gate, Theatre in the Mill, the Finborough, New Wolsey, Etcetera Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, studied with Philippe Gaulier, at Cambridge University and Motley.
We are based in London, and beyond the three core members of director, performer and set-designer, collaborate with writers, musicians and others for each project. |
