PELLEGRINO'S AMAZING LOBOTOMAT

'Pellegrino's Amazing Lobotomat'  used advanced technology and research to give a dystopian twist on the fairground peepshow. This one-on-one encounter offered bespoke neurological analysis and improvement for the lucky audience member within a state-of-the-art booth. It explored the historical and current use of personality tests, from phrenology to online surveys, investigating the ideologies and vested interests behind these practises.

'Pellegrino's Amazing Lobotomat' was devised and performed by Jessica Barker-Wren, Pablo Navarro MacLochlainn and Kate O'Connor. It was designed by Stephanie Williams and built by the company. It was made possible with the support of Theatre Delicatessen and presented at the Bush Theatre as part of Bush Bazaar 2012.
